Synopsis
“Lost in Space”this web series is based on Set 30 years in the future, expansion in space is now a reality, and the Robinson family is among those tested and selected to make a new life for themselves in a superior world. But when the new colonial find themselves unexpectedly damaged off course en route to their new home they must falsify new alliances and work together to survive in a dangerous alien environment. Stranded along with the Robinsons are two outsiders who find themselves pitched together by accident and a mutual aptitude for betrayal. Dr.Smith is a skilled manipulator with an enigmatic end game. And the playful, but charming Don West is a highly-skilled, blue collar contractor, who had no intention of joining the colony, let alone crash landing on a lost planet.

Lost in Space Seasion 1 Storyline
The web series is start on Set 30 years in the future, expansion in space is now a reality ,On the way to a space colony, a mess sends the Robinsons scoot toward an new planet, where they struggle to survive. Another crash brings more passenger to the planet as the Robinsons work to recover their ship with help from their mysterious new member of their family. The Robinsons make contact with another family of passengers, and Will chase to protect his Robot friend after Judy learns what happened on the Resolute.
As the team builds a tower to signal the Resolute, Maureen explore a planet, and Will clamp for a rough debate with his dad. Maureen debates want to share what she saw in the sky, Don leads a mission to find fuel, and the robot’s presence feed tensions within the passengers. On the other side Dr. Smith moves forward with a secret project, tectonic activity inflict calamity across the planet and leaves two teams facing impossible choices. Maureen finds a solution of fuel issue, but putting her plan into action confirm critical than imagination.
Judy sets out to find Maureen, while Will and Penny edge an cruise to the caves. Dr. Smith seek a new escape plan. As the clock ticktock down toward the Resolute’s departure, the Robinsons crawl to get off the planet.
Lost in Space Seasion 2 Storyline
Seven months later, isolate on a watery planet, the Robinsons make a risky propose to power up their Jupiter, and Will declare to track down the Robot. Penny and Maureen become captured in a mysterious metal pit. The Robinsons’ imagination of a happy homecoming vanish when they realize something’s very wrong on the Resolute. Dr. Smith catch a chance to clear her name and make a new profile. Will searches for clues to the Robot’s circumstance, John and Judy travel to the dusty surface of the nearby planet to help their associate passengers.
John’s circumstance goes from bad to worse when they fall in the water well, sending Judy on a furious race across the planet. Penny secret service on Dr. Smith. The fast-spreading poison leaves Penny, Smith and friends helpless in tight dorm. Will and Maureen set out with Adler to find the Robot.
John volunteer an implausible partner to help down a secret audio signal catch by the Resolute. Will start to think Adler is hiding something. While Maureen leads a strike, Hastings visits John to deliver an warning, and Penny tries to assure Will that his Robot has changed.
Will and Penny push to hide the robots and figure out their next move. Meanwhile, Hastings loudspeaker up his war against the Robinsons. The mission to save Scarecrow takes an amazing turn, throwing the Resolute into anarchy.

The effects and sets on this show are really good, what makes it irritating at times is that the problems never stop, not for more than 3 minutes, forget about survival the Robinsons would be simply out of energy. Also enough with Dr Smith, someone just shoot her.

I am a sucker for a good Sci-Fi. Preferably a type that sticks more to the Sci, and less to the Fi. This series is making an attempt at both, but it mostly relies on telenovella twists and unnecessary drama to drive the plot. Characters’ motivation is unconvincing at best – they seem to be more preoccupied with their personal issues than the mission of colonisation – so much for selecting the best scientists for a brand new world…

Season 2. This is the sort of sci fi I love. It doesn’t need the non stop whiz bang action, though it does have some of that. This is thoughtful character driven stories with a real heart. Sure, there are some holes and suspension of disbelief but what the hell. Humour, some really moving moments and a whole lot of fun.
